Khulna-Mongla Port Rail Line

PROJECT OVERVIEW

About This Project

CHALLENGE

The Problem We Solved.

Coordinating simultaneous structural steel erection across 8 geographically spread railway stations — each with active rail traffic — required strict sequencing, precision logistics, and adherence to Bangladesh Railway safety protocols.

All work had to be completed without disrupting the operational rail corridor.

SOLUTION

How Metal Core Delivered.

We implemented a phased fabrication schedule — completing all components at our factory before mobilising to each station in sequence. This allowed parallel progress across sites and minimised on-site disruption.

Dedicated site supervisors at each station ensured quality control, timeline adherence, and seamless coordination with IRCON’s railway operations team.
